Five must-have content types:

Are you planning a brand shoot soon? Don't forget to capture these five must-have content types.

1- Headshots: Full or half-body headshots are essential for your about page, social media platforms, e-mail marketing, and speaking engagements. Make sure to capture a few different headshots with different tops and layering options for variety.

2- Business Process: Share a peek behind the curtain of what your process looks like, from start to finish. From inquiry to finished product. This can be working on the computer, prepping for a client, meeting with a client, creating your art, working with the client, etc. Document the process so you can add the visuals to your services page on your website. Transparency is key.

3- Client Experience: This is where the most opportunity is often missed. Take time to incorporate a model or real client to show what it's like to work with you. It goes a long way. Think about what your client experience is like. Even if it's virtual, you can still create an in-person experience to show that interaction and position you as the lead in your signature experience.

4- Lifestyle Photos: Incorporate photos that show your products or services in use, or the lifestyle that your brand represents. This type of content helps to create a stronger emotional connection with your audience and can be used on your website, social media, and marketing materials.

Behind-the-scenes: Capture any behind-the-scenes moments at your shoot. You can use it later for inspiration messaging and to create reliability with your ideal client. Bring your tripod or prop your phone on something, turn on the video, and let it roll.
